STUDYING IN LONDON

Are you a hard working, partying and independent student?

Requirements
All students are required to be sufficiently proficient in the English Language to benefit from their studies at the School.
Even though it is not required to have grades up to a specific standard in the English Language, a qualification is necessary when you apply to LSE, if you are made an offer of a place and English is not your mother tongue, it is likely that you would be asked to obtain an acceptable English Language qualification as a condition of your offer.
Age requirements- Admission to LSE is based upon academic merit and potential. As LSE has a responsibility for safeguarding children under English Law, appropriate senior staff will be notified of an offer of admission made to anyone who will be younger than 18 years of age at the time of registration.
AS/A levels - Students studying A levels are expected to offer four AS levels (taken after one year of advanced study) and then proceed to three full A levels (A2s). If resourcing issues at your school prevent this then we advise you to request that your referee indicate in your reference whether resources are available to teach four or five AS levels in Year 12, and whether timetabling arrangements allow the uptake of a wide range of subjects. Offers are based on three full A levels (A2s).
