One of the most special things about Queen Mary is our campus. it is the largest self-contained student campus in central London, it is only fifteen minutes by tube from the Oxfort Street, Covent Garden and also the rest of the West End. That is special for Universities in London, in fact we are the only college in London who can offer students cafes, bar, restaurants, accomodation, gym, a student shop, bookshop, cashpoint and laundrette. You can feel save at our campus because there is 24 hour security on campus and all students flats have entryphones.

Living on campus is a great way to start your university career. It is like 5 minutes from your bed to the lecture hall.

All our students are very enthousiastic about living on the campus. They say that you feel like you belong a bit more, living on campus. You live on a place with people  who are doing the same thing.

 

You have a lot of different things to visit around/on the campus. For example you have the Regent’s canal right next door. Beyond that you have the Mile End park. This is a green space to get your mind cleared. Beyond that you have the Mile End leisure centre which includes a brand new eight - lane swimming pool and teaching pool. Not only do they have a swimming pool, the leisure centre also includes a Wellness Fitness Centre, an indoor Sports Hall and a women-only fitness centre. In the neighbourhood there is also a Mile End stadium with a football pitch, athletics tracks and other pitches.
