STUDYING IN LONDON

Are you a hard working, partying and independent student?

Medical Insurance
Disabled students applications are welcome and if you want you can apply for a room that meets your individual needs. For example en suite bathroom facilities, a location close to LSE campus and wheelchair accessible.
-
You will need to tell the school before you arrive about any specific adaptations you feel you need so that any necessary adaptations to your room can be made in good time.
-
If you require a room for your personal assistant to use, the school will allocate the room next door to yours, but you will be charged for both rooms.
-
The LSE Disability and Well-being Service will work with you to try and identify funding sources to support your studies at LSE.
You must complete the Assessment form for consideration(PDF) If you want to seek priority accommodation on grounds of disability or exceptional medical circumstances. Then you have to post or Email the complete form to the Disability and Well-being Service.Once you have submitted a priority application form, you should apply for accommodation. You also have to mention in the special requirements field that you have applied for priority accomodation so the school can process your application more easily. If you are a current student who already has an agreed priority for an accommodation placement through an Individual Student Support Agreement (ISSA) with the School, you do not need to resubmit a priority application form but you need to put the word ISSA in the requirements field. Please note that your ISSA must state 'Accommodation office arrangements - priority placement' for this to be valid. If your ISSA does not specify this, you can still submit a priority application form. Medical circumstances can only be considered by our Disability and Well-being Service and Medical Centre. Please do not send the form or questions to the Accommodation Office because they will be unable to make a decision in your particular case.
For international students with disabilities, prior planning and other arrangements will be taken care of. LSE will also help you with the arrival and will help the students to settle in their accomodation. For more information you about the arrangements and arrival you can visit the website of the school and download a PDF file that is called ‘Arrival to LSE halls checklist for international students with disabilities’
